There are insufficient permissions to write to a sharing database file.
The most common cause of this issue is insufficient permissions on the file share used to store the shared database(s). There are two sets of permissions that must be set in order for the application to read and write the sharing files, file system and sharing. Even if a user has rights on the file system, they must also have the Change permission on the share itself. By default shares only have Read permissions, even for administrative users.
Ensure that the user has proper write permissions on both the file system and the file share.
