Error: "Invalid access rights" or "profile is invalid" during enrollment - SimpleMDM

You may have noticed that things look a little different. SimpleMDM is now part of the PDQ.com family and we are in the process of moving all of the SimpleMDM Knowledge Base articles to their new home. If you are receiving either one of these errors on a device during the enrollment process:

  • "The profile is invalid."
  • "The MDM payload 'Mobile Device Management' contains invalid access rights."

You may be able to resolve the issue by checking that:

  • Your device has the correct date
  • You are running iOS version 5.0 or higher
