This article explains how to add VPP licenses for apps and media from Apple Business (or School) Manager to your SimpleMDM Catalog for distribution. For information on linking a VPP account to your SimpleMDM account, please refer to our article on�Connecting a VPP Account.
Before VPP apps and media licenses (from Apple Business Manager) can be distributed with MDM, you must first add them to your Apple Business Manager account. This process is explained in Apple's documentation here:�Select and buy content in Apple Business Manager.

After�VPP licenses are purchased through the Apple Business Manager portal, you will need to notify SimpleMDM of the changes. To do this, complete the following steps:
- In the left-side menu, click "VPP" under the "Apps & Media" section.
- Click the "Sync with Apple" button.
SimpleMDM will contact Apple and update your account license info. Any new licenses will appear in your catalog shortly.
