Best Method for Deployment

Hello,

Which is the best deployment method?

  1. Using a repo, to deploy software to client computers.
  2. Copying the files from the repo to the client's computer and then installing using the local files on the client's computer

    I use a DFS based repo and have clients pull from the DFS share within the same site.
