PDQ deploying software to wrong computers
Hi,
We are happy PDQ inv./deploy users...
There is just one thing that keeps popping up...
Due to a certain VPN setup every now and then there is a DNS registration delay when clients are connecting to our office network..
This delay sometimes causes PDQ to deploy something to a wrong computer...
My question: Is there anyway to make PDQ verify the computername before starting a deployment? This would be a great feature for us!

Really? This is what I get when I try to deploy to a computer with a stale DNS record:
Inventory throws the same error.
How many times has Deploy deployed to the wrong PC? Did you check the DNS records when that happened?
