Monitor user activity

Hello,

I am currently looking for a way to monitor when a user is active and currently using their machine, I understand I can enable a couple of GPs to monitor logins, logouts and other activity such as screen saver timeouts, but it would be nice to have the ability to create a report or a powershell tool to monitor this and I wondered if anyone has already got this working in their environment and what they would suggest.

Thanks!

  • About the only thing I can think of is showing whether a user's machine is in a Locked or Disconnected state.  You would need to run a Computer Information scan right before you run your report to have the most current data.

  • User activity tracking is the process of tracking, collecting, and analyzing the browsing behavior of visitors on a website or application. like I can track players at electron dash an entertainment site, that's an example

  • To receive the report,

    1. Log in as an administrator to the ADAudit Plus online interface.
    2. Go to the Reports tab, then to the User Logon Reports section on the left pane happy wheels, and then to the User Logon Activity report.
    3. Choose the domain and any particular items you wish to query for.
    4. Choose Export As to save the report in one of the supported formats (CSV, PDF, HTML, CSVDE and XLSX).
