AD - depth of Sub Tree in Sync
Peter Brooks
How many levels of OU does 'Include Sub-tree' include? We organise by areas, then rooms, then 32 or 64 bit etc so can have 4 or 5 levels from the root in AD.
It looks as though it's only going one level down from the root, so default containers like Computers and Domain Controllers are being included but nothing in our other OUs. It would be a real pain to have to include all the relevant OUs manually...

I definitely have levels as deep as you. Looks like the deepest in my PDQ Inventory is 6 levels. I've done nothing special aside from tick the "Include Sub-tree" option as you have described.
There isn't something funky going on with the account you are using for the AD sync is there? It's got rights to read/view those OUs in Active Directory?
That's good to hear. It can't be a permissions issue.
I've just upgraded to Pro so will try restarting the services in case that kicks something into action.
Many thanks for the reply.
Yep, it's working.
Awesome. Good to hear! Enjoy that Pro License :)
