Report to show workstations that "do not" have a specific application installed

OK so I have been trying to build a report (or even a collection) that shows a list of workstations that do not have a specific application installed.

I have a collection called "Workstations" From those I would like a list that do not have "papercut print logger" installed. All of my attempts produce a report but it lists every application that does not match papercut print logger, not a list of computers that do not have it installed.

Just new to PDQ, so learning sorry of this is/has been covered before.

  • You need to use the "Not Any" filter.

  • Thank you but same results, sorry and actually already tried this. As you can see the results show all applications, while the list does indeed include the workstations that do not have papercut installed each one is listed many times for all the "installed applications" I have to weed through 9300 results to get just the list of workstations... Seems like there should be an easier way when looking for a group of computers that "do not" match a given criteria.

  • That's because you also included the Application Name in your columns. If you remove Name and Version you will get just the computers that do not have Papercut Print Logger installed.
