PDQ Deploy Link to Collection

Hi, we're using PDQ Deploy and Inventory Pro. 

I'm looking at the link to functionality, to link to a custom Inventory Collection to populate the target list.

 

Now, my question is, if this works in conjunction with Hearbeat deployment - since only the link to the collection is in the target list, how/when does PDQ Deploy know to check for targets?

    It depends on your scan schedule in Inventory. If you Scan a collection every 6 hours in Inventory, changes to the Collection are returned, and if anything needs to be done, the heartbeat schedule in Deploy will kick off. If you need it to check sooner, adjust a scan profile with the scanners you need, change its name to something meaningful, and tell the collection to use that Scanner.
