Report Graphics/Formatting

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the report in PDQ Inventory.

When I go into a report and click "run report", I get normal/clean view. I like that. My manager does too. However, when I run the report through auto report, then it is formatted with pretty colors, title, date, user and page number, I know I can remove the color via the print settings, but I would prefere to have the report as clean as possible. If I select the report as a "CSV" file, then I can get rid of the colors, but the title, date... is still there.

Is there any way to workaround this?

Maybe powershell, registry or a setting in the SQL.

  • I don't believe you can change the formatting, but I will put in an internal ticket to see if there's some hidden setting.

  • Hi Colby,

Thanks that would be great. I have read that it is possible to remove the first two and the last lines of text with PowerShell, at least for a text or csv file, but I am not sure how. Either way, it would be best if there was an builtin function to do this.
