PDQ Inventory Registry key for Office 32 or 64 bit
Sam T.
Without Pro or Enterprise version of the application, is there a way to scan for Office architecture? 32bit or 64bit.

Sam,
You can run a simple report to find what Office application versions and architecture are running on your machines.
I started by creating my columns as such:
I then ran these filters against the registry on the machines.
The results are below:
I am most certain that someone else may chime in with an easier solution but this report is pretty straight forward.
If the registry path houses "WOW6432Node", it's running a 32-bit version of Office on a 64-bit machine.
If the registry path houses "microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion" the Office Version matches the "Host" Architecture which is also displaying on this report.
File and Registry Scanners are not available in Free Mode unfortunately.
Do you mind a custom Tool for inventory using Powershell? I think Custom Tools are available in Free Mode. Their comparison chart is a little vague. Hopefully Colby or someone chimes in here to clarify that.
I'd hate to provide you with something you can't use!
@Stephen, the Registry entries @Brandon is talking about are part of the Applications entries. They exist in Free mode.
@Brandon Thanks! Took me a while to understand what I am looking for, but it works. Too bad I can't save the report, but this should get me started on converting them to 32bit
@Sam I am glad to assist.
