Deploying Adobe Connect

I am trying to deploy Adobe Connect 11.9.979.366 using PDQ Deploy 12 Pro Mode. I downloaded the AdobeConnectAddinInstaller.exe, got the parameters from the executable (see image below) and created a package to push to my users. I used the parameters /VERYSILENT, /SP- and /SUPRESSMSGBOXES. PDQ Deploy 12 Pro reports the installation as successful with no errors, but the software is not actually installed on the computer itself.

What I have tested:

  • Tried to install the software using PDQ deploy with the /VERYSILENT, /SP- and /SUPRESSMSGBOXES switches. PDQ Deploy Pro 12 reports sucessful installation but the software is not installed.
  • I have run the software executable manually on the machine to confirm that it does indeed install.
  • I have tried running the installer from PDQ Deploy with no parameters to see if it would begin installation on the test machine (and I could confirm that it atleast started to install on the machine). It runs for quite a while and then times out.

 Thoughts?

  • Try adding /LOG so you can see if it's complaining about something.

    /LOG="%CD%\output.log"
    0
  • Output log confirmed that everything installed just fine.

  • So I have figured out what is going on but not sure how to fix it.

In our test environment, we use an account with administrator privileges on the machine. Adobe Connect did indeed install but only for that account. PROGRAMS AND FEATURES for the administrator account shows Adobe Connect being installed (confirmed when I ran the Adobe Connect Meeting Test Page) but when I log in to the test machine with another account, Adobe Connect is not installed.
