WSUS Server Name Check via Registry Key
Hi All,
I created a Scan Profile to check the Registry Key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\WUServer to make sure that machines are set to check in with our new WSUS server.
What my goal really is here is to see which machines are NOT set to check in with the new server. If a machine is not set to check in with a local WSUS server, but rather still set to use MS's servers, this registry key does not exist. I know that I can easily find which servers are still pointing to our old WSUS server by checking the Key Value. I would like to see both situations.
How can I see which computers have no value saved from the Scan Profile? I was hoping to find a DOES NOT EXIST Comparison, but there does not seem to be one. I have tried all of the other DOES NOT X options, but get zero results, even though there are machines without that registry key.
Thanks!
