Deploy Server Offline

Is there a way (or will there be a way in the future) to run Deploy Client in offline mode? There are times I would like to modify deployment packages, etc on my laptop from home, but since I am off the network Deploy will not launch because it cannot connect to the Deploy server.

There's not a way currently. That's due to how they are talking to the database I would imagine. to fix it they would have to start caching stuff locally on a client, and then syncing back to the central server later.

OK. Not a huge deal. All I really have to do is connect through our VPN. I can see many headaches working offline if multiple admins modify the same package anyway. Although it would definitely liven up Monday mornings.
