Granular Push/Pull settings

Currently running the latest versions of Inventory (13.2.0) & Deploy (13.2.5) in Enterprise mode.

We have the repository stored on DFS. I've just added some targets into scope, that are part of a different domain. I've allowed the documented PDQ firewall rules between the subnets, so Inventory scanning and Deploy deployments (in Push mode) work as expected.

The issue is that the other domain targets do not have access to the DFS. I've tested that Push deployments work so want to use that model for those targets but I'm not willing to change the default settings as my other targets need to be using Pull.

Is there a way to set the Pull/Push settings for just a subset of targets?

  • You can set the Copy Mode per package, but there is currently no way to define Copy Mode for a subset of targets.

  • Ok.

Are there any plans to implement this feature? It would make managing a cross-domain environment much simpler.

  • I submitted this as an internal feature request. I have no ETA on when it could be implemented.
