Application Usage?

Can PDQ Inventory do application usage reports?  For instance, when was the last time a user opened Project Pro.  Maybe then do a report on the users that haven't opened Project Pro in 30 days.

TIA

  • As far as I'm aware, no. You might want to check out PowerShell (Get-EventLog / Get-WinEvent) or a tool like Labstats.

However, if the application is updated frequently, you can run a report in Inventory to see the version spread on your endpoints, then start with the oldest version as an indicator that someone might not be using or updating the program regularly. Results will only be as good as your last scan so you might want to initiate a fresh scan before running the report.
