Workgroup computer appear as "offline" all the time
So I am add by name + local account credentials ./accountname to add computers that we keep as a reserve for the users (they are not a part of the domain until someone needs it) and for some reason they appear as offline.
EDIT: just to mention - when I add it by name, in that first Window, computer is initially recognized, and then it goes back to offline once I take a look a the collections.
When I removed it and scan for the particular IP address it doesn't find that machine, even thou I can discover it on different scanning tool.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong over here?

The firewall is probably enabled. I recommend running Remote Repair to see if it can help. Open Inventory, then go to Help --> Open Remote Repair.
