PDQ Inventory Service Causing High CPU Usage

PDQ Inventory service (version 19.3.409.0 Enterprise Mode) is causing very high CPU usage (98-100%).  How should I troubleshoot this issue?

Thank you.

  • Usually, when I see resource overutilization, it boils down to some performance settings that have gotten out of whack.
One of our engineers wrote an article about common performance settings that may need adjusting in PDQ Deploy and Inventory.
Please look over the below article and make the suggested changes if possible.

I recommend opening up a support ticket if you continue experiencing issues. Our team will be able to look closer at your files/config to see what's going on: Submit a request – PDQ Deploy & Inventory Help Center

I recommend sending over Deploy and Inventory Server Summaries in your request.
You can find those on the Server here: C:\ProgramData\Admin Arsenal\PDQ Deploy\console_summary.txt and C:\ProgramData\Admin Arsenal\PDQ Inventory\console_summary.txt
