Two Deploy Questions: Wake Mahine on other subnet, update current user without rescan

We've been trying several solutions to replace our aging Altiris.  It's been challenging to find a solution that offers real time monitoring of weather or not a computer is on, or a user is logged in and allows individual control of machines as opposed to dealing with them in clusters like SCCM.

I love PDQ deploy and have two questions:

1) Is there a way to update the current user information without having to do a full rescan? Often we want to know if a computer is on who is logged in quickly.  Even scanning just computer info takes a bit.

2) How can we configure a wake machine to forward WOL packets on a different subnet?

Great program although this is an adminarsenal fourm, if anyone knows other programs to play with, love to.

    To address point number 2, a question: Do you have a router sitting between your subnets, or is this just VLAN traffic subnetted between switches?
