do i need active directory in order to use PDQ deploy on my network?

    No, you don't need Active Directory.  You can push deployments using local administrator accounts on the target computers.

    There is any client software? Because I cannot see it

    There isn't any software that needs to be installed on the target computers, PDQ Deploy connects directly to them to do the deployments.
