Error from PDQ server side: "Access Denied - Failed to read file on source"

Hi, 

Suddenly  I cannot use my scripts repository all my scripts are at the same location s.a \\location\scrips and the PDQ server cannot deploy any of them,

I'm getting the error "Access Denied - Failed to read file on source"

but if I copy the same file localy to the PDQ server then it is deployed correctly,

I don't think that it's an issue of permission since as part of the checks have set the permissions of my share to Everyone...

I also have no problem in running the scripts manually (locally and remotely)

 

any ideas?

can it be connected to any recently windows updates?

    Are the credentials used for your Background Service domain credentials? If you log into Windows with the Background Service credentials are you able to access the scripts share?

    You wrote that the share permissions are set to Everyone, but have you also checked the Security permissions?

    for the record, yes it's a domain user :)

    there were indeed some permission problems for my back service user, thanks for the advise to connect directly with it and check,
