The problem is that different versions have different GUIDs. (identification IDs)
You might also try the Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
It supports also command line parameters.

I am not sure that you can uninstall a AdobeReader Patch. The uninstallation process removes the whole Reader so you have to reinstall it from scratch + add patches. Adobe is not much into creating cummulative updates so you have to install them one by one.
The easyest way to determine the GUIDs you need is to run MyUninstaller from NirSoft (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/myuninst.html). You can search for adobe and locate the uninstall string in the properties. looks like MsiExec.exe /X{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A95000000001} (for AR 9.5.2)
Than you only need to run the command with additional parameter /qn (meaning quiet and norestart)
BTW if you have PDQ Inventory Pro, you can uninstall Adobe Reader from there.

I use sometimes the silentuninstall toll from following web page.
http://www.scriptingsimon.com/2010/10/silently-uninstalling-software/
this is a very smal and good tool to do silent uninstallation of software. For example, if you type "silentuninstall.exe "Adobe Reader" the tool will search for all versions of adobe reader, after he find a version the tool will uninstall it. Give the tool a try.
