PDFCreator v1.7.1: Error code -100

Hi guys.

When trying to deploy the latest PDFCreator I get "Package returned error code -100". The only think I had changed to version 1.7.0 and all the other versions of PDFCreator so far is, of course, the installer .EXE. Parameters, file locations, permissions, younameit - all is the same.

Of course, I tried to google for that error, and checked out your KB etc. - but to no avail.

A hint or an idea would be highly appreciated! :)

Hi Karsten,

On my windows 7 64-bit box, it worked perfect, however when attempting to deploy to my Windows 8 64-bit box, it just hung on "Running" forever.

I had to cancel it.

What OS are you attempting to deploy to?

Hi TonsOFun.

Lex from AA helped me out here. The return code -100 is an "informational" code from PDFCreator, and as such, can be "ignored", that is, accepted and added to the list of successful codes in the deployment task properties.
