Trying to Uninstall, but get "Some Packages Could Not Be Downloaded"
I am trying to uninstall an older program, specifically older versions of Adobe Flash. This includes various flavors of version 11 (ie: v11.9.900.152). Doing so via PDQ Inventory, and the Uninstall option, fails with "Request Timeout".
I would do so via an Uninstall Package with PDQ Deploy, but these older packages are not available in my package library. I am able to find older Uninstall Packages for my specific Flash versions on the PDQ support site, but when I try to download them into PDQ Deploy I get "Some Packages Could Not Be Downloaded: 1 Package could not be found, it may have been removed or only available to a later version of PDQ Deploy". I am running the latest version of Deploy.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Matt,
Can you list specific version of Adobe Flash that you are trying to download the uninstaller for? Also, what uninstall string is populated in Inventory when you try the uninstall that is timing out.

Am trying to uninstall Flash versions:
11.5.502.135, 11.8.800.94, and 11.9.900.152
Below are examples of what I am trying to download and get the "........Could not be downloaded" messages

Also, below is the string when I try and uninstall straight from PDQ Inventory:
"C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil32_11_8_800_94_Plugin.exe" -maintain plugin
Matt,
If you go into the Package Library in PDQ Deploy, you should see an Uninstall Adobe Flash Player Alternate package. Download and deploy the uninstall to the machines with the older versions of Flash. Flash should get removed from the machines.
Let me know if you continue to have issues with this.

Please see my original post, as this is the whole issue. I am trying to uninstall Adobe Flash versions 11.x.xx. If you go to the package library for PDQ Deploy and browse to "Uninstall Adobe Flash Player Alternate" package, all that is available is for versions 12, 13, and 14.
If I go to Admin Arsenal's support site and try to download Uninstall packages for the older version 11, I get the error that I referred to in my original post.
Hi Matt,
The Adobe Uninstaller (available from Adobe) attempts to uninstall all versions of Adobe Flash. Some of the older versions do have problems getting removed with their utility which is why we offer the Alternate package as well. The Alternate package runs an additional utility which strips out any "Adobe Flash" values in the Products registry key. Basically the latest version of the Alternate should work. If it doesn't please let us know.
Ok, the latest "Adobe Flash Uninstall - Alt" was the key, I just originally figured that since that wasn't for the version I was trying to uninstall, it would not work. It did. Thanks again.
No worries. Thanks for getting back to us, Matt.
