Upgrading apps that were installed with ninite.com
Hi,
I previously used www.ninite.com to prep new workstations.
This is fine for a new install but upgrading all is a pain.
I am trying to use DPQ Deploy Enterprise to install packages from the library and so far I am having failures on 40% of workstations.
The install can either stop at the uninstall stage (Foxit step 6) or will complete but the app does not show in add/remove.
If I remove the app first I have a successful install.
Would this be linked to ninite doing some sort of custom install of the apps and PDQ not knowing how to uninstall?
Any help appreciated. My only option so far would be to remove all ninite installed apps across 75 workstations and laptops.

Hi Steve,
We have an updated Foxit Enterprise Reader Package available in the Deploy Package Library now. Please delete the current package in your PDQ Deploy console and then close and reopen your console. Download the updated Foxit Reader Enterprise Package and try deploying it out to machines that were giving you trouble.

Hi Brandon,
Followed instructions and pushed out the install this morning.
Although the first attempt displayed finished, Foxit did not show in Add/Remove Programs. Performed a redeploy and it worked.
