Package Library Download Failure

I've given the free version of PDQ Deploy a try today and managed to deploy some software to a machine completely fine, however I realised I left the repository as default so then changed it to a directory on our network. The problem is now whenever I try to import anything from the package library I just get the "The operation has timed out" error meaning I can't download anything, and also have a notice in the bottom right corner of the main windows which says "Check for new version failed"

The network directory is open to all users, so I'm not sure what else to try?

  • Hi Lee,

I realize you posted this back in February, but wanted to reach out and see if you were still having this issue or if it had been resolved?

  • Hi Jason,

I think this issue turned out to actually be an Internet connection problem on our end which reared its head the moment I first posted this, which I'm guessing was the cause of the issue. Since then PDQ Deploy has functioned normally (and fantastically!).
