How to deploy Microsoft updates such as hotfixes, security patches?

I think frequent update from microsoft such as hotfixes, security update are not part of the PDQ pre-built packages. How do I go about deploying these updates?

    For Microsoft hotfixes you would need to create the install package(s) in PDQ, including providing the silent install parameters. For Microsoft hotfixes the parameters are frequently /quiet /norestart but you would want to verify for each patch. 

    Here is a page that describes creating your own packages. It isn't using a hotfix but the steps are the same.
