Is there a way to add an image to a message pop up?

Hi Everyone,

I'm still new to PDQ and I'm not even sure you can add an image to a Windows pop up message so if you have another way around this perhaps using a cmd then please let me know.

We are essentially looking to add our Logo to warning messages our users receive when we roll out updates.

For example Java needs browsers to close to install so we have added a pop up with a wait time to inform our users of their browser-death but some were still worried it was a virus/malware.

Any ideas?

  • At the current time PDQ Deploy uses msg.exe to send a message to the end users.  For something like what you're looking for you'd have to find a 3rd party software.

  • Hi Jason,

Thanks for the response - I had a feeling that might be the case.

I don't suppose you have / have heard of a way to accomplish it, or have a 3rd party software in mind?
