PDQ Deploy (only) and Heartbeat

Hey PDQ Gurus,

Just wondering, I use MDT to do my imaging, but as you know there are some serious limitations around software installing.

Just trying to figure out how I can automate as much as possible.

When my machines image I leave them in the default computer container till I manually move them to the right OU.

Can I use the heartbeat function of PDQ Deploy to install the extra apps MDT struggles with?  If so how long would I need to leave the computers on and in that container until the heartbeat kicks in?  This is without inventory.
