How can I accept all defaults?

I am pushing out a MSI with the /qn /noreboot options.

How can I suppress all pops (next, next, install)  All defaults are ok to use.

  • Hi Dan,

If the parameters that you're using from the vendor are still allowing pop up dialog boxes, then it's unlikely those parameters are correct or there's something missing.  Are you able to take the install files and copy them locally and then using a command prompt put in the path to the msi with the parameters and have it install silently and successfully?

  • Hi Dan,

If you'd like to send us some screenshots and more information about the actual program you're trying to deploy we'll see what we can do to help you out.  Email those to support@adminarsenal.com and we'll get to it as soon as we can.

  • Typically I just google <product name> silent install options. 99% of the time there is documentation available from the software maker that explains commandline installation options. A lot of the time they will use an /s or /silent or in some cases I've seen /verysilent as arguments.
