Update for settings within Java 7 update 67 - maybe other updates as well

I am in need to change a setting within Java 7 update 67.  This may apply to other versions as well.  Currently SOME machines are getting an error when lauching certain website that deal with Java.  The message that comes up is a Microsoft JScript compilation error along the top banner, then in the window it says "Expected "{"

The only fix that seems to work so far is to go into the Control Panel / Java and under Network Settings we change the "use browser settings" radio button to the "Direct connection" radio button.

I can deal with that but is there anyone out there that could right a script so this can be done on close to 2500 machines?  Please help !!
