How do you scan for vPro chips?

How would you get PDQ Inventory to scan for vPro systems?

  • Roberto,

We don't have a built in way to identify vPro systems (yet) but according to Intel you should be able to look for the presence of the "Intel Management & Security Application User Notification" service.

  • You can create a Collection that looks for computers running this service. See attachment.

  • Thanks for the help.

With Adam's solution I could use PDQ Deploy to run the software and PDQ Inventory to filter the registry.

With Shane's it is a simple filter.

Will try them and see if there is a difference on results.
