Some software now, like Dropbox or Chrome or Firefox can bypass administrator rights and install itself into the users' folder. Typically on our systems that use the UAC, if the user cancels or dismisses the UCA prompt the app gets installed anyway. Is there any way for PDQ Inventory to scan for these sorts of rogue programs? We're a Spiceworks user too and apparently it does not scan for them either, and I've noticed they don't show up in the control panel's "Programs and Features".
Thanks in advance,
