Scrolling through Inventory
Seems that when I am scrolling through my list of "Online Systems" and I have a record highlighted that I have looked at previously, the system wants to always pop back to that record in the list. It can be frustrating when searching for machines that haven't pulled an inventory, find one and then get thrown back to a system you looked at 5 minutes prior that was hundreds of records up. As I scroll, I literally have to keep highlighting records so I don't get thrown back to my original highligted record. I can't seem to find any way to "de-select" a highlighted record so it doesn't keep going back to it every 5 seconds. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for reporting this. We'll do some investigating to find out why it might be happening and get back to you ASAP. To help us duplicate the issue, how do you have the list sorted and which columns do you have showing in the list?
Thank You Adam - Attached are the Column Headers/Fields I am displaying when using the built-in "Online Systems" container. I usually always sort by "Name".
We've found the cause of the problem. When computers are added or removed from a collection, such as when their online status changes in your case, the grid was jumping back to the focused row. We've got it fixed and I can send you a test build if you'd like to verify it before we roll it into the next release.
That would be great Adam! Thank You for your assitance with this issue!
Great, I'll send you a link through e-mail.
Adam - I am running on 2.1.2 (Build 11) and the issue still seems to be present. Doesn't "seem" to be as bad but it is still popping back to any record I highlight. Mind you, I do have 1,880 workstations currently reporting online that I am scrolling through. I have also noticed that since the last update, seems that when a computer goes from "ONLINE" to "OFFLINE" it still reports in the "ONLINE" Dynamic Container. Could just be a refresh issue though.
You're right, there was more than one thing causing it to move. Depending on where the row was being added or removed it could still jump. I'll get you a new build.
You can force the collection to refresh by hitting F5. Right after installing a new version the database is pretty busy with updates and it may take some time to update collection membership, particularly with a large number of computers.
Seems the latest build has corrected the issue Adam. Many Thanks!
Excellent, thank you. We'll get this in the next update. Please let us know if you need anything else.
