Cannot scan Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1 workstation
Just starting out with PDQ Inventory. Using the Free mode until I determine if it will work for me. Have had luck with scanning most of our workstations (Most are XP). However, there is one Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1 workstation I have not been able to scan.
PDQ Inventory reports it as "Computer unreachable or offline". However, it does show that it is online with a Green dot and Yes. I can ping the workstation by name from the computer that PDQ is installed on. Spiceworks is on this same workstation and has no issues scanning this Windows 7 workstation. Firewall is off on both workstations. We do not have Active Directory. Only have 1 other Windows 7 Pro workstation, but it is 32-bit. No issues scanning it.
Don't know what else I can do to get this to work. Any suggestions?

Are the administrative shares on that particular computer ok? Can you access the \\computername\admin$ share? Is the \\computername\IPC$ share working?
Hi Becky,
This is the default behavior for a Windows 7 machine that is not a member of Active Directory. By default, Remote UAC prevents the administrative shares (ADMIN$, C$, IPC$) from being accessed over the network with a local user account. There is a setting in the registry you'll need to modify which will disable this.
