PDQ Inventory Hanging (Scan Pending)

It seems that every couple of days PDQ Inventory gets hung;

It can be used fine one day and then the next time I go to use it (say 2 days later I try to scan a computer or multiple computers) it just sits at "Pending" without ever getting past it.  I have to force the PDQ Inventory Service .exe to end and then restart the actual PDQ inventory service in order to then get it working again (once I do this it works without a problem until a few days later once again where it does the same thing).  I haven't had any issues with it in the past and am only noticing this recently (the past 2 weeks).  Is anyone else having this issue and or know a fix?

(No other scans are running or anything previous to this happening, so it's not like it's pending in a queue to be scanned)

  • I noticed this happening last week on Thursday. For some reason it froze at "pending".

    I had to reboot the PDQ server, but i have not witnessed it since then so far.

    Been running a manual scan all morning to update Java.

    The only changes i made were the WMI timeout. Changed it to 360.

    As for the concurrent scans, i believe i changed that awhile back to 10.

    You can try to lower the number to 5?
