  • Hi Klint,

    Please open the Standard scan profile and verify that the Applications scanner hasn't been removed. If it has then click the Add button and replace it. Please report back either way.

  • Let's try this. Log on to one of the machines (which shows no applications). Go to Control Panel > Programs and look at the Uninstall window. Which applications do you see? You can also try deploying an app to one of these machines and seeing if that shows up in the next Inventory scan.

  • Let's see if there is any data for this computer in the database and for some reason it isn't showing up the console. Go to your Preferences window and click the SQLite Console button in the Database panel. Type or paste in this command in the SQLite3 window.

    select name,publisher,version from applications where ComputerId in (select ComputerId from Computers where upper(name)='L00051');

    Are any applications returned?

  • Please try this:  Scan this computer using the Applications scan profile. Check the Application Event logs on both console and target computers. (Event Viewer). You can open the event viewer for the target machine from the Tools menu in PDQ Inventory.

    We want to see if there is any logging info that would indicate that the Applications scanner failed. If nothing shows up please go to the Logging panel in Preferences and change the level to Debug. Then retry the scan. When it is complete turn the logging level back to your previous setting.

    Thanks.
