Conflicting IPs causing mismatch

Doing the pro trial, been using the free copy for a while and am planning to make the switch shortly. But having one recurring problem, when I sync with active directory I get a large amount of older devices pulling up the same IP as newer ones, which really clogs up the system when doing scans. I'm unsure of where to resolve this, do I need to prune these devices out of AD or is there a setting in PDQ Inventory that can get around this?

  • Hi Chris,

    This issue is most likely caused by having stale records in DNS. We definitely recommend enabling DNS Scavenging on your DNS server.
