Comparing Devices

Is there a way to compare two or more devices an highlight the differences e.g. to compare the hardware/software of a workstation or laptop to a reference device.

I can do it manually by exporting lists and comparing them, but it would be nice to do within the GUI or with a report.

Currently there is no way to do a differential report on two or more devices.

One possible workaround would be that you could set up a Dynamic collection that had all of the variables listed in your reference device (e.g. applications, memory, hardware, OS, etc.) to see how many machines in the environment met those variables and vice versa. Obviously this would require a deal of work, and it still wouldn't provide you the information on what was missing that excluded machine X from your reference device, only that something was missing. It would eliminate the need to compare all machines against your reference device, however.
