Managing WYSE terminals

Hi All I was wandering if there is a solution to the below scenario
(i) We have clinic workstations at different sites across Sydney, Australia
(ii) The clinic workstations are connected to our network via VPN
(iii) The clinic workstations are not on the domain
(iv) Users access legacy applications via Citrix portal

The issue we have here is we would like to manage and deploy applications directly to the PCs. Is there a way of scanning for PC's based on IP addresses only? or PC's not on the domain?

As I understand WYSE systems, no, Deploy wouldn't work on the actual thin client. Deploy will only work with later Windows OS targets.

However, to answer your other questions... if a later Windows OS target connects via VPN then as long as the standard requirements are met (File and Print Sharing enabled, access to ADMIN$, Administrator credentials, etc.) then yes, it can be a target of PDQ Deploy via IP address. Since the computers aren't on a domain you would need to add multiple credentials into PDQ Deploy to account for the local user accounts that you need to use.
