Support for Older versions of DotNet

I cant see there being a solution for this to be honest but I thought I may as well ask anyway.
Im currently stuck on PDQ Inventory Version 3.0.6.0
The reason for this is because we have quite a few Windows XP and Servers out in our environment still running DotNet3.5 and there is currently no plans from Management to allow me to upgrade this.
Since DotNet4.5 is a requirement to scan it means im stuck on this version.

Any thoughts on this? anything I can do to upgrade to the latest version but still maintain these Servers and PCs.

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, our latest version of PDQ Inventory does require .Net 4 at a minimum and we do not have plans to allow for backward compatibility.
