.Net 4 not installed

I am getting a .net 4 not installed message on several computers.  I have run the remote repair, I have run the "install .net 4 and scan", I have installed .net 4 manually....and I am still getting the error.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

    Are these computers you have been able to scan before, or are they new? Maybe try installing .NET 4.5 or 4.6.

    It's the original scan.  It's kinda strange since they are exactly like 100 other desktops in the building.  I'll try that.  Thanks.
