    Not reading much into this other than the local console application lost connection to central server

    Same problem here a few days ago.

    My Solution:

    I removed the WMI scan for all event log errors because i noticed this scan produced to much traffic (over VPN), takes to long and the DB growth quickly from under 600mb to over 3GB after a few Scans.

    This scan kills Inventory in my constellation with 9 Locations over VPN, especially if you build custom collections based on this data.

    Maybe this hint helps.

    Any resolution to this? I have 2 customers that the inventory services stops about once a week. Have the latest 16.2 installed now, had 15.2 prior. We just changed them from stand alone to client / server so will see in about a week. Any thoughts would be great.
