Deploying Windows update never finishes

I'm using PDQ Deploy push out a Windows Update standalone installer and I've followed the steps here: https://support.pdq.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000344171-What-about-Windows-Updates-that-the-PDQ-Deploy-Package-Library-doesn-t-provide-

Step 1 finishes however the actual installer in step 2 just runs forever and never finishes. I've tried it on a few different clients.

Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps its waiting or looking for user interaction? Have you tried running it as "Deploy User (Interactive)" as a test?
