Scanning Network for Unknown Windows Computers

I have a large subnet full of Mac and Linux computers. There are also about 150 Windows boxes. The Windows machines are not domain joined, and are poorly inventoried and tracked.

Will I be able to use PDQ inventory to find all these Windows machines using a network scan?

Can PDQ Inventory identify Windows computers if it does not have credentials?

The machines possibly have known local admin credentials, am I able to have PDQ inventory try several different credentials to get OS info, etc?

If not PDQ Inventory, is there any tool that will help me find all Windows machines on a subnet?
