PDQ Deploy 16.1 deployment fails if a step is disabled

After upgrading our PDQ Deploy software from 15.4 to 16.1, every one of our deployments that references another deployment package, where that step is disabled, when running the deployment on a PC, PDQ halts the deployment installation at that step with the error "Cannot find package definition for package link step". Is there a fix or work-around other than deleting all the disabled steps from our deployments?

They have a customer build that fixes this issue.

Sorry, but no. You have to contact Support to get a download link for a customer build. The fix will be part of any future builds of Deploy, but I have no ETA for that. We are currently working on Inventory 16.
