Files Scanner And Dynamic Group When NOT Found

I created a file scanner that is searching for an icon on the public desktop (*.lnk) I want to create a dynamic group that does not contain this file so I can create a schedule to install it.

Can this be done?

Hi Tom, Robert's post is the simplest way to do it.

If that is not working, check that the scanner has detected the .lnk file in the Files & Directories scan results on the Computer Profile page, this page is also very helpful if you require more detailed file deployments.

Yes I tried and have setup the above. I have 12 machines that state the file is not there but when I review the Files & Directories section of the computer, it's there.

Hey guys, this type of filtering can be tricky, but you're almost there! You just need to switch to a Not All for the filter group and Contains for the comparison:
