PDQ Deploy 17 "Not Found - File not found on source" error
Jon Burkey
Is anyone seeing an abundance of these errors since upgrading to PDQ Deploy 17? Specifically with the Adobe Reader DC Patch 18.011.20063. It copies over and then fails on more than half of my computers.
Output Log doesn't open. The 'More Info' button says file path should be "C:\users\USERNAME\AppData\Temp\PDQDeployService\6524\FILENAME.tmp. That directory doesn't exist even while it's copying over

I have seen those as well, i uninstalled the agent and reinstalled the inventory agent and that fixed it for me.
Yes, I've been seeing this for larger file copies, it doesn't seem to happen for smaller files. I actually came here just to see if anyone else was having this issue.
Same here. It seems to be larger files that this is affecting. Hopefully someone from Admin Arsenal will chime in...
@Nirav
What do you mean by uninstalling the agent? On all machines or a specific one? I'm having this issue as well and it's really slowing down my Windows 10 in place upgrade as it's a 4GB file transfer. Thanks
Contact PDQ Support. They gave me a newer BETA version that has fixed this
I too am having this issue but I am not using the agent on any workstations. I have it retry every 4 hours and it hits 1-4 systems but then leaves 200 showing "Not Found - File not found on source" I do massive deployments(800 systems) and never had this issue before. The files are on a network drive that the pdq account can access. 2GB file size
There is a beta version PDQDeploy 17.1.0.53 I am trying out. Support said it should fix the issue.

Currently struggling to copy out about 2GB worth of files due to this error. How did the beta version fair with the issue?
It fixed the issue for me and worked exactly like it was supposed to. Was able to copy to 600+ systems in my environment.
We are announcing the End of Life (EOL) of the optional PDQ Agent beta from our existing products. See this blog post for more information https://www.pdq.com/blog/pdq-agent-status-update/
