PDQ Agent and ADMIN$

Can anyone confirm the host pcs still require ADMIN$ enabled shares even with the use of the PDQ Agent.

It is possible to use the agent both in Inventory and Deploy with the ADMIN$ disabled, however having it disabled will make things a little harder for you.
1. You will have to install the agent manually on each target. Inventory uses the ADMIN$ to install the agent from the console.
2. If you disable all shares on the server machine you will have to change your repository in Deploy to a network share or package downloads won't work.
3. If you have agents with the status of Internal Heartbearts may take longer to report back to the console as they will have to wait for the next scheduled agent heartbeat.
You may run into more items like those above that's just what i can think of from the top of my head, but in the end it can be done.
