Failed to start Background Service: PDQ Deploy

I just installed PDQ deploy v17.1. I had an earlier version previously and was forced to upgrade to continue updates.
After the update, I get this error. I changed the password to make sure that it was valid (of course it was). I checked to make sure that the account can "log on as a service" (of course it can) and if credentials were removed from service, then entering them would fix that.
Any help in getting this thing to start would be appreciated.
